Content Connect - Uploading Other Content

This article explains how to upload content captured with your phone or camera into Content Connect, create modules, combine clips, and publish content to Ask On3.




1. Start the Upload Process

  1. Navigate to app.on3.ai
  2. From the homepage, click Create Course
  3. Click Next to begin the upload wizard

2. Select Workspace

  • Choose your workspace (company or division)
  • If you manage multiple workspaces:
    • Use the dropdown to select the correct one

Click Next to continue.


3. Select Build Type

  • Choose Module
    • This is the standard option for most uploads
  • Programs (collections of modules) can be created later if needed

Click Next


4. Select Program (Optional)

  • If you already have a program, you can assign the module to it
  • If not, skip this step and click Next

5. Upload Your Content

  • Drag and drop your file, or
  • Click to browse and select a file from your computer

Important

  • If you have multiple video clips:
    • Upload one clip first
    • Additional clips can be added later

Click Next


6. Add Title and Details

  • Enter a title for your module
    • Optionally use the file name
  • Description is optional
  • Additional information fields can be left blank

Click Next


7. Confirm and Generate Module

  • Review your entries
  • Click Confirm
  • Click Generate Module

You will be returned to the homepage, where the system will begin processing your content.


8. Locate Your Uploaded Content

In Library

  • Navigate to Library
  • Your uploaded file will appear in the list

If the content is intended for quick access:

  • Click Add to Ask On3
  • This makes it searchable and available in the field

In Modules

  • Navigate to Modules
  • Locate your newly created module

If it shows Processing, allow time for completion.


9. Adding Additional Video Clips

If you want to combine multiple clips into one module:

  1. Open the module
  2. Click Key Points
  3. Select Add Content
  4. Click Upload New Content
  5. Upload additional clips

Repeat as needed for all clips.


10. Uploading Content Directly to Library

If you do not need to create a module:

  1. Go to Library
  2. Click Add Content
  3. Upload multiple files (videos or PDFs)

Use this method when:

  • You want fast upload
  • You need content available in Ask On3
  • You do not need structured learning modules
