Enabling Notifications for On3 AI (iOS and Android)

This article explains how to enable notifications and required permissions for the On3 AI app on iOS and Android devices so users can receive alerts and use the app as expected.

Enabling Notifications for On3 AI

To receive content alerts and updates from your workspace administrator, notifications must be enabled on your device. On Android devices, additional permissions are also required for the app to function properly.

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

Steps to Enable Notifications

  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Notifications
  3. Find and select On3 AI
  4. If Allow Notifications is turned off, toggle it ON
  5. Enable additional options as needed:
    • Sounds
    • Badges
  6. Choose your preferred Banner Style

Result

  • Notifications will now be delivered to your device
  • You will begin receiving alerts sent by your workspace administrator

Android Devices

Steps to Enable Permissions and Notifications

  1. Locate the On3 AI app icon on your device
  2. Press and hold the icon to open the context menu
  3. Tap the Information (App Info) button
  4. Navigate to Permissions

Enable the Following Permissions

  • Camera → Allow while using the app
  • Microphone → Allow while using the app
  1. Go back and locate Notifications
  2. Toggle notifications ON

Final Check

  • Return to the app settings
  • Confirm notifications are fully enabled
  • Close and reopen the On3 AI app

Result

  • Notifications are enabled
  • Required permissions are granted
  • The app will function as expected and deliver alerts
