System Requirements

This article explains device requirements, bandwidth needs, connectivity checks, and where to download the On3 AI and On3 Learn applications.

System Requirements

To ensure a smooth experience using On3 applications, devices must meet the following minimum system and network requirements. The On3 mobile applications are available on both iOS and Android.

👉 Download On3 Learn (Android)

Supported Operating Systems

Minimum supported versions:

  • iOS: 14 or later

  • Android: 12 or later

Network Requirements

  • Minimum bandwidth: 2 Mbps

A stable internet connection is required for uploading videos, indexing content, and accessing learning materials.

Hardware Requirements

Minimum Requirements (Basic Usage)

For standard On3 usage:

  • Processor: Dual-core processor

  • Memory: 2 GB RAM

Optimal Requirements (Recommended)

For best performance and smoother processing:

  • Processor:

    • 11th Gen Intel i5 / i7

    • AMD Ryzen 5 / 7 (5000 series)

    • Apple Silicon M1 or equivalent

  • Camera: 720p or higher

  • Graphics: Graphics card with WebGL 2.0 support

Optimal hardware improves video handling, AI processing, and browser performance.

Connectivity Test

A series of connectivity checks should be performed to confirm that On3 services are reachable from your network.

DNS Services

The application must be able to resolve and connect to:

  • learn.on3.ai

  • create.on3.ai

  • firebasestorage.googleapis.com

  • api.on3.ai

  • app.on3.ai

Required Ports

Ensure the following port is open:

  • Port 443 (HTTPS)

All On3 traffic uses secure HTTPS communication.

Latency Checks

  • Measure network latency to confirm acceptable performance

  • High latency may affect uploads and AI processing speed

Firewall Configuration

Firewalls must allow outbound HTTPS traffic to the DNS endpoints listed above.

Blocking these endpoints will prevent the application from functioning correctly.
