Knowledge Gaps helps workspace administrators find missing information, add content for specific topics, and check coverage alongside clearer Ask On3 reporting.
Knowledge Gaps helps workspace administrators find missing information, add content for specific topics, and check coverage alongside clearer Ask On3 reporting.
Highlights
- Find the information your team needs. Review recurring topics your library does not fully cover, the questions behind them, and the number of separate conversations that encountered each gap.
- Add content for a specific gap. Choose Add content for this gap to open a topic-linked upload. After processing, On3 checks whether the content covers the missing information.
- Track coverage clearly. Follow Open Topics, Pending Topic Coverage, and Topics Recently Covered. Read verification status and Full or Partial strength together, and see the supporting content and contributor.
- Review and share reports. Reporting dashboards use tabs, and spreadsheet export downloads one Excel workbook containing the dashboard’s sections with current filters. Reports include readable workspace and business unit information where applicable.
Find the right report tab
- Ask On3 Metrics: Overview for summary and impact metrics; Content for source references; Topics for requested topics; Coverage for answered and unanswered topic analysis; Feedback for likes, needs-improvement reactions, and user feedback.
- Workspace Metrics: Usage for time and usage trends; Leaderboards for user, Ask On3, and workspace-content tables; Library for Library Metrics.
- Content Metrics: Overview, Content Engagement, Workspaces & Users, and Activity Details keep content reporting organized. Content already used tabs; this release adds Excel export.
Choose a reporting period, then use the Download Excel control beside the tab row. Some detail tables also provide a separate Download as CSV control. Keep dates and filters consistent when comparing reports.
Why this matters
Your team’s recurring questions can guide the next library update. Start with five priority topics, add the missing guidance, and track how many reach verified full coverage. Retest the original questions in Ask On3 and review the sources to check what your team can now find.
